You're a seafarer and you want to explore downtown Tampa. Not a problem because public boat docking at the Tampa Convention Center is easy and convenient. Our dock is on the Hillsborough River just steps away from the Convention Center and it is perfectly situated near the many businesses, attractions and restaurants of downtown Tampa.
Dock your boat at the TCC dock and take a short stroll to the Sail Pavilion, an outdoor waterfront oasis. At the Sail Pavilion you'll enjoy a cool beverage in a casual, pet-friendly atmosphere. Other attractions within walking distance of the TCC dock include the Florida Aquarium, the Tampa Bay Times Forum and the Tampa Museum of Art.
Various modes of transportation are available for exploring the sights of downtown Tampa. Try renting a bike at the City Bike Tampa Bike Hut located just past the Sail Pavilion. The Hut rents various types of bikes including multi-speed road, mountain and comfort bikes. You'll find one just right for you. Or walk across the street from the Convention Center to Dick Greco Plaza and board a streetcar that will take you to various points of interest. The streetcar will even transport you to historic Ybor City, one of only two National Historic Landmark districts in Florida.
The Tampa Convention Center dock has 28 slips that can accommodate recreational vessels over 26 feet long.
